Hello readers!
I know its been five months since my last post and I sincerely apologize - I don't know how time has flown by! Every week I regretfully didn't blog - partially out of embarassment that I had slacked in something that I loved to do, but after getting pregnant in the late fall, life took an even bigger turn towards chaos!
After a long horrible winter and having many bouts of illness over the last few months, I am finally back to myself (for the most part!) and I wanted to write a final blog post about what the future holds for me personally and professionally.
Since this will be our second child, I have decided to close my home practice, Art of Wellness, permanently. It was a difficult decision and one that I am most certainly saddened to make, however the only certainty in life is change (in addition to death and taxes!).
As someone who has always been career-oriented, this has been an interesting ending of this chapter in my life and of this love story between myself and the vision and reality that AOW came to be.
Since opening in 2007 I had the privilege of helping people live healthier lives primarily through my bare hands. Its an incredible feeling to know you have changed people's quality of life through natural modalities such as chiropractic, acupuncture and therapeutic nutrition. It has been a joy and blessing and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to serve from the comfort of my home.
In addition to practice, my career in writing started in 2008 when I began blogging here at mybindi.com! It too has been a source of joy, as I have been able to share not only valuable health information, but also the little tidbits of wisdom I've gathered along my life journey.
It has been a pleasure writing over the years and my hope is that I have provided useful information to help improve you health and your life. Although my journey in health & wellness has come to a close (for now), and therefore my blogging here as well, I want to wish you the very best for your health for the future.
Thank you for supporting this blog by reading, commenting and subscribing to it over the years. It has meant more than you know.
Yours in Wellness Always,
Dr. Shamira
