Of course we felt it. It was pretty much impossible to be a North American kid in the 80's and not be consumed by Michael Jackson's persona and music. The glitter glove, the moonwalk, the tilted fedora - I did it all. However, what we may not fully comprehend, living in our New World bubble, is the impact Jackson had on youth around the world. His music transcended geographic boundaries, colour and religion.
India recently payed homage to the KIng of Pop with this well-crafted song and video. Note the big stars featured in the introduction, and some phenomenal MJ-inspired dance moves by the always-fabulous Prabhu Deva.
