Recipe Ingredients
500 g CATELLI Spaghettini
2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 onion, sliced
1 green, orange or red pepper, chopped
1 jar (700 mL) CATELLI Garden Select Pasta Sauce
Salt and freshly ground pepper
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation
Cook spaghettini according to package directions. Heat oil in a skillet set over medium-high heat; sauté chicken until golden. Remove and set aside. Add onion and green pepper; sauté for 4 to 5 minutes. Stir in pasta sauce and reserved chicken; simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve sauce over hot spaghettini and sprinkle with cheese, if desired.
For a South Asian Desi Twist:
Add 1 tsp of garlic paste, 1 tsp of cayenne powder and 1 tsp of tandoori masala.
