My journey with this stylish boutique began a couple of months ago, while I was desperately searching for the most perfect, unique, never seen before outfit. You know the kind that only exists in your head, but you can never seem to find in reality? Well, I definitely lucked out with this hidden gem of a boutique located in the Cottrelle Plaza in good ol’ B-town With several, unique designer pieces to choose from, I was in Indian suit heaven! Naturally, I knew I had to share my excitement with all of my DFF besties. Plus I wanted to share a little status report on what’s hot in the fashion scene pronto! How did Rhythm Creations first get started?
Our story first began in October 2002. My mother, the socialite, first started out with a store in Dubai on a very small scale. Years later, we moved to India and leaned more towards designing and seamstress work. In 2001, we made our move to Canada and realized just how different our community was here and what the demands truly were. Using our past experiences, we made the decision to begin our very first boutique…Rhythm Creations. We didn’t know much about retail in Toronto, but we knew we wanted to create a quality boutique for our clients, not just a store, rather we wanted shopping in our boutique to be an experience. In April 2011, our dream came to life.
How do you select the pieces for your boutique?
By keeping an eye on the latest trends and fashions in India and surrounding areas. Each piece is viewed and selected electronically and then physically every 4-6 months when we visit our vendors overseas.
What is your brand all about?

We are not just a suit shop, we are a boutique specializing in exclusive designer wedding and formal wear along with handpicked accessories.

For all of our style watching fashionistas out there, what kind of fashion trends can we look forward to in the new year?
We suspect that elegance and simplicity are around the corner. Outfits will have more detailed antique work on rich fabrics like shafone, velvet, banarsi and silk pieces.
What do you feel are Indian fashion non-negotiables (i.e. do not leave the house without)?
She may be wearing a glamourous suit, but the jewellery has got to stand out, it simply can not be an afterthought.
What are your fashion pet peeves?
We carry loads of sexy suits that are meant to only be sleeveless, please do not add sleeves….it kind of kills the look.
